We collect metadata (e.g., timestamp, purchase confirmation, quantity) associated with in-app purchases such as Opener credits. All transactions are handled directly through Apple or Google.

Provide, personalize, and improve the Service
Facilitate meaningful matches and conversations
Generate AI-powered content through The Opener
Monitor usage trends and user engagement
Enhance app safety and detect suspicious behavior
Provide customer support and troubleshoot issues
Comply with legal requirements
MingleMinds uses third-party large language models (“LLMs”) to power The Opener—a feature that generates AI-suggested opening messages.
By using The Opener, you acknowledge and agree that:
Your profile data and prompt context may be processed by an external AI provider to generate a message.
Personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email, or phone number is not shared with these providers.
You are solely responsible for the content you choose to send, whether generated by AI or edited by you.
AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors or inappropriate suggestions. You should review all content before sending it.
MingleMinds does not use AI output to make automated decisions about users.
We use third-party tools (e.g., Mixpanel) to analyze:
Feature engagement (e.g., how many users use The Opener)
Retention and match funnel performance
Session duration and user navigation flows
This data helps us refine the product and detect patterns indicating misuse. You may request to limit tracking by adjusting your device settings or contacting us directly.
To maintain a respectful and intentional dating environment:
We may log behavioral patterns (e.g., rapid likes, duplicate content, or flagged messages) to detect harassment, spam, or harmful behavior.
While user chats are private and not actively monitored, we reserve the right to review content during abuse investigations, either reported by users or surfaced by our systems.
We may suspend or remove accounts in violation of our Terms of Service or community guidelines.
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information only in the following limited cases:
With service providers, such as:
Hosting infrastructure
Analytics providers (e.g., Mixpanel)
AI/LLM providers (for The Opener)
Customer support tools
With app platforms (Apple and Google) to process payments and enforce platform policies

We retain your information as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for business continuity, analytics, and legal compliance.
At launch, users will not have the ability to delete their accounts in-app. You may contact privacy@mingleminds.app to request limited removal or deactivation. Full account deletion functionality will be introduced in a future release.
We do not guarantee long-term storage of expired matches, message history, or Opener interactions.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:
Access your personal data

Request deletion of your data (subject to feature availability)
Object to certain uses or limit behavioral tracking

However, no system is entirely secure. Please exercise caution when sharing sensitive information in chats or your profile.
MingleMinds uses third-party services and SDKs to deliver functionality, analytics, AI-powered content, and app store integration. These may collect limited data as needed to operate, in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Such services may include:
Mixpanel (analytics)
OpenAI or comparable LLM providers (The Opener)
Firebase or similar tools (infrastructure and notifications)
Apple and Google (in-app purchases)
MingleMinds is intended for users age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn that a child has created an account, we will promptly delete the associated data.
MingleMinds currently does not respond to browser-based “Do Not Track” signals. Users may request limited tracking suppression by contacting us.
MingleMinds is currently intended for users within the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you do so at your own risk and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
We may update this Privacy Policy as our product evolves or to comply with changing laws. If material changes occur, we will notify users via in-app notice or email. Your continued use of MingleMinds after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
